Sand, rock, cement & water
Parker Hardwick
When we came to mexico none of us expected the work to be do difficult. The houses we have worked on have been made purely out of cinder block and cement. When we pulled up to the job site there were two piles, one of sand and one of rock. The cinder block were already at the job site but no cement. Cement is used to hold the cinder block together , make the floor, and the roof. We mixed sooooooo much cement; to make the cement you mix 23 wheelbarrows full of sand 23 wheelbarrows of rock 10 bags of cement and water. We found that if you mix a bunch of material together you get really strong results just like people.

Parker has made a very profound observation as he compares what makes strong cement and what makes strong people. There are certainly some very strong people returning to RPC from this trip.
